    Job Description

    Business Development

    • Routinely identify and develop new client relationships with measurable revenue streams for long-term growth and profitability. Develop strategic relationships with potential clients to offer our services:
      • Waste management and recycling-related services
      • CSR collaborations with corporate partners
      • Workshops with clients
    • Lead clientele growth and support new business efforts in liaison with the Business Development Team. 
    • Lead client onboarding process which includes client meetings, waste assessment, preparing and sending proposals and service agreements, etc.
    • Offer strategic advice, thought leadership, and day-to-day management in order to grow the business.
    • Perform competitive research to understand current market needs/trends, and incorporate findings for better results.

    Client Management

    • Maintain good relationships with existing clients for long-term collaboration. Communicate with them regularly for assessing needs, accounting purposes, contract renewals, etc., and address concerns in a timely manner.
    • Take regular feedback from clients at regular intervals and incorporate them into the existing system to enhance our service delivery.
    • Ensure that the client database is regularly maintained and updated.
    • Research and test partnerships with new clients to expand our reach. Actively follow up on potential clients for any partnerships.
    • Work with the team and accounts department to ensure timely contract execution and renewal adjustments.

    Advocacy and Others

    • Attend and participate in events such as panel discussions, conferences, and seminars on behalf of Doko related to waste management and related matters.
    • Become actively involved and work closely with related teams in the planning and execution of campaigns on waste management and related matters. 
    • Assist team members with their tasks when they require assistance.

    Job Description

    Doko Recyclers has been a pioneer in spreading awareness on waste management, recycling, and sustainability in Nepal. We are looking for a fresh approach in communicating with our audience. This job description constitutes planning, designing (in-house), editing, and publishing relevant content based on our objectives and users' needs. The main job is to develop a content strategy that conforms to and sets out to achieve great engagement. 

    • Develop, implement and manage social media handles for the brand with a marketing plan and strategy.
    • Craft and plan new content/ideas to engage with the relevant online communities. Support and lead content generation through writing, aiding in photo/video/text,  presentation and communication skills. 
    • Plan and create promotional content for paid social media marketing and digital media campaigns on a monthly basis. Also, work on creating promotions based on special cultural/festive days.
    • Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn)- schedule content and regularly post in company social media. 
    • Design and brainstorm visual content for special campaigns.

    Job Description

    We are looking for Field Enumerators to join our team and conduct in-person interviews with local citizens aimed at collecting primary data on their community’s status and behavior pattern. Enumerators will be required to get information about the individual’s demographic, socio-economic status, and behavior relevant to the study and submit the collected data to help build comprehensive records.  Ultimately, enumerators will work with a small group of people to ensure local communities are represented in data.

     

    Enumerator Responsibilities include:

    • Visiting citizens at their homes to conduct interviews and collect data. 
    • Conduct interviews with respondents to collect information about respondents’ demographic, socio-economic status, occupation, other demographic factors, and their experiences with various products or services.
    • Explaining the objectives of surveys and their procedures to respondents who are to be interviewed and ensure that they understand the process.
    • Interpreting interview questions to assist people in understanding them and providing eloquent answers and double-checking the information on survey forms to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of information provided.
    • Recording data from surveys or questionnaires on paper forms or computer tablets for statistical analysis.
    • Maintaining confidentiality when collecting sensitive information.
    • Identifying and reporting any issues that may arise while attempting to obtain valid data
    • Writing reports after interviewing participants after the study has been completed to obtain feedback regarding the experience.
    • Creating survey sheets, compiling, recording, and coding information derived from specified forms into a predefined database.
    • Conducting extensive and thorough visual surveys of areas covered during the data collection procedure.

    Job Description

    We are looking for an energetic Operations Assistant to support our operations at our Material Recovery Facility in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur. You will report to the Operations Supervisor. Your responsibilities will be as follows:

    1) Assist with the management of site operations. It includes:

    • Setting priorities and targets, and assigning work to ground staff.
    • Managing pickup vehicle movement. 
    • Verification of daily inward scrap and delivery notes.
    • Record keeping of all scrap sales and purchases.
    • Maintaining a proper health and safety environment in the workplace, and incident reporting of any injuries.

    2) Track and verify daily vehicle activity including kilometres run daily, recurring maintenance records, and other relevant data. 

    3) Data entry, filing, and spreadsheet management of pickups. Manage all data entry tasks related to pickup, including PR closing, Pickup master sheet, and Pickup sheet entry.

    4) Coordinate with and assist the Communications team during site tours. 

    5) Maintain regular inventory for all sellable products including second-hand items.

    6) Manage and grow our zero waste shop, Tatwa,  by:

    • Grow sales through innovative marketing strategies including regular product updates, social media posts, competitive pricing and customer satisfaction. 
    • Process orders received from Daraz, Tatwa Website, Hamrobazaar and social media platforms.
