Conducting a Workshop: The best way is to learn is by doing and Doko Recyclers had a productive weekend in a three-day long workshop with ISARD aimed at facilitating knowledge sharing and learning in different subjects. We had an interactive exchange over Doko's ongoing initiatives in waste management, where we emphasized the growing problem of waste in rural communities. The active participation of stakeholders from the community and young students left us with a possibility to explore further on waste management systems in rural areas outside Kathmandu Valley.

Gunsa Ward Office along with Arsow Nepal and Triangle Génération Humanitaire have completed the construction of one of the first recycling centers in rural Nepal. As technical partners, we are excited to see the beginning of a proper waste management in Gunsa.
