Plastic recyclables collected along the way by volunteers at a Sundarijal cleanup and waste audit organized as part of the Breakfreefromplastic movement.
Which brands can you spot in the trash during a hike around the Kathmandu valley or a walk right outside your home? Doko Recyclers along with New Star-Pole S.S / College, Holy Kids Academy, Daffodil School, Eklavya Siksha Sadan, and Kamyak School conducted a cleanup at Sundarijal for worldcleanupday2019. Not only did we collect 21 sacks of waste in four hours, we also conducted a brand audit afterwards where we identified companies that produce the most amount of litter in the area.
