    Frequently Asked Questions

What is considered E-waste, and what does Doko Recyclers accept?

E-waste includes discarded electrical and electronic devices such as computers, mobile phones, printers, TVs, batteries, chargers, routers, cables, and other related accessories. Doko Recyclers accepts a wide range of these items for safe and responsible recycling.

Electronic waste often contains hazardous materials like lead, mercury, and cadmium, which can harm both the environment and human health if not disposed of properly. Recycling e-waste ensures safe handling of these substances and recovery of valuable materials.

Collected e-waste is transported to our Materials Recovery Facility (MRF), where it is carefully sorted. Repairable items are refurbished and sold as second-hand products. Reusable components are recovered for future use, while non-repairable parts are dismantled and sent to certified recycling partners through appropriate channels.

Doko Recyclers provides certified data destruction and hard drive shredding services to ensure complete and secure removal of sensitive information from electronic devices before recycling. This service is particularly valuable for offices, financial institutions, and government bodies. We also issue certificates of data destruction and safe disposal for institutional clients.

Doko Recyclers offers end-to-end e-waste management services, including:

    • Refurbishment and resale of functional electronics
    • Data destruction services for institutional clients
